Haad Salat – Thailand 2008 “Bungalow”

Most of the signs in Thailand was hand made but with industrial inspiration, so the makers often put a lot of work into sketching, measures and grids. Since a lot of the signs they are making involves a foreign alphabet I understand that they often rely on the ruler more that the overall look and kerning. If you have no history or relation to the alphabet you are reproducing is damn hard to know the details. Try to make a sign in Thai and you will see how hard it is.
